Get ready for opening day of The Historic Farmers Market of Lapeer this Saturday May 5th on the Courthouse Square in Downtown Lapeer. Come by and celebrate springtime and the beginning of another season at the market. All the great local goodies including beautiful plants, honey, maple syrup, eggs, beef and produce. Fresh and delicious baked goods, homemade potato chips, jams and jellies, and many more tasty food items. Also a wide variety of beautiful handmade art.

Make sure you stop by and do some shopping this Saturday with the Lapeer Master Gardeners and their annual Rummage Sale fundraiser. You'll find them set up near the Market pavilion and if you have any gardening questions bring them along and 'Ask a Master Gardener'.
