Shane Hamre found a video on his son's iPad that the boy's mother obviously recorded. He was so appalled by what he saw that he took the video to the Kitsap County, Washington courthouse, but was basically told, "Too bad!"

Shocked by their response, he posted the video on his Facebook page. He wrote, "If this was a female complaining about the father, the father would be arrested. I am so so so so sad for my son."

As a father I got really uncomfortable, really fast when I watched this video. It contains strong language, and though you can't see any physical violence, you can certainly hear verbal abuse followed by what sounds like, well, you be the judge. WARNING: Watch at your own discretion.

Shane also wrote, "My son watched this with me and he was terrified [that] his mother would find out I watched this, and that he would be hit again. He said she hits him when she is mad. Nobody's kid deserves this."

What do you think? Did this mother cross the line? Should the county officials have listened to Shane?
