Dave Mason On Today’s Vault – “Only You Know And I Know” … But Everyone’s Invited!
From our "under-rated guitarists" files ... comes Dave Mason. Aside from a few soft rock hits during the late 1970's, it seems he hasn't done much. But, he actually has. Joc Cocker's "Feeling Alright" - he wrote it. Jimi Hendrix "All Along The Watchtower" - he played the acoustic parts. Traffic "Dear Mr. Fantasy" - yep, him. Back then, he was a member of Traffic. A few other surprising appearances bookend his solo career, which started around 1970 with "Alone Together". That's the one we're getting into today, with plenty of "under-rated" guitar!
