People in Michigan love going to concerts, and the 2019 attendance totals back that up.

Pollstar put together concert attendance numbers for all the major venues in the Country for 2019. According to their numbers, Michigan has two of the most popular concert venues in the entire country.

DTE Energy Music Theater took the top spot for all amphitheaters in the United States with an attendance total of 598,617 for the year. That's up five spots from the sixth place rank DTE held last year.

Anyone that has been to a concert at DTE knows why it is at the top of the list. In my opinion, there is no better place to see a show. Even if most of us still call it Pine Knob, nobody can argue with the magical vibe that takes over DTE during a show. The best part is that they continue to add cool features. From small bar and restaurant spaces, to increasing the deck at the top of the hill, they are constantly improving.

Little Caesars Arena holds the number two spot in the country with 957,596 concert goers for the year. The only venue to bring in more people was Madison Square Garden.

LCA benefited from a slew of huge shows rolling through last year, but has still managed to be in the top 3 venues since opening.

The FOX Theater can't be forgotten either, as they ranked sixth in the country for theater attendance.
