
Five By Five
The second EP by The Rolling Stones, Five by Five, was released on August 14, 1964. The title is a play on words-five tracks recorded by the five members of the band: Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman. Five by Five was recorded at Chess Studios in Chicago during the groups first U.S.A. tour at 2120 South Michigan Avenue which would be immortalized on Side One:"2120 South Michigan Avenue." Two months later the band would put out the album 12 X 5.
