Former Brown City Bus Driver Arrested, Accused Of Reckless Driving And Touching A Child

James Burke quit his job as a bus driver in Brown City this past November. Just yesterday he was arrested on charges of reckless driving and inappropriately touching an 8-year-old girl.

According to reports, officials reviewed video tape(s) of Burke, 53, allowing the young girl to sit on his lap while driving the bus. Are you kidding me? Authorities are not charging him with sexual misconduct, but they are charging him with a disorderly obscene conduct charge. I think we can all agree, there is no reason for that girl, or any child for that matter, to be sitting on his lap period.

Burke is out on bond, and due back in court next month.
