Suspect Arrested After Break In At Bowman’s Outdoors In Lapeer County
Crime does not pay.
One man has been arrested after a robbery at Bowman's Outdoors in Brown City, on August 14th. Over two dozen guns were taken from the store. Twenty-two of the guns have been recovered by police, as well as another gun that was taken from Ben's Supermarket in Marlette.
According to WNEM, three males were involved in the robbery. I am guessing, the one suspect already in custody will eventually lead police to the other men. The suspect, who has yet to be named, was arrested in Saginaw.
The investigation remains ongoing, and if you have any information that could help police in this case, please call Sgt. Robert Wells at (810) 656-1016.
I have said it before, and will say it again - there is nothing worse than a thief. Many years ago I was at a do-it-yourself car wash, and stepped out of the bay to get change. I was in front of the change machine, and saw a guy walk out of the bay my car was parked in. He looked totally suspicious.
He walked into the bay next to me, and got inside of his vehicle. Sure enough this clown took my purse out of my car. I stood in front of his car so he could not leave, I was also screaming for my boyfriend Tony who was coming out of the gas station next door. Tony kicked in this guys passenger window and got my purse. What a hero!
The thief peeled out, but I got his license plate, called police and he was arrested at home within the hour. Justice was served.
