Grace Slick’s Birthday [VIDEO]

I missed a rock star birthday from yesterday and she's one of my favorites. Grace Barnett Wing was born on October 30,1939, in Chicago and she would eventually evolve into Grace Slick.
By the year 1965, she was living in San Francisco and heavy into to the hippie music scene forming her own group The Great Society. Grace got to be friends with members of The Jefferson Airplane and would be invited to join the group when the lead singer left.
By the time The Jefferson Airplane lands on the stage at Woodstock in 1969, Grace and the band had become one of the top rock bands around.
