Jimi Hendrix Experience Takes Off 46 Years Ago

One of the top debut albums from 1967, the Jimi Hendrix Experiences first collection “Are You Experienced” entered the album charts. The initial tune released this week as a single was “Purple Haze” that made it up only to #65.

This album which was a first of its kind and it took rock music in a totally new direction.
