Actor Mark Wahlberg shared a greeting with the kids at Hurley Children's Hospital and thanked staff members for their hard work and dedication to the kids.

"First and foremost, to all the amazing kids, fighting and battling, I find so much inspiration in you and your courage," Wahlberg said. "God bless you. Never give up, no matter what the challenges are and what you're faced [with], you're all my heroes and you're all in my prayers."

Wahlberg went on to acknowledge some Hurley staff members, calling them the "backbone of the success there at Hurley" and thanking them for their ongoing efforts and dedication to their patients.

The actor noted that he is currently in London, working on a new movie.

He visited Flint in June of this year for a ribbon-cutting ceremony shortly after the grand opening of Wahlburgers at Genesee Valley Center.
