Morris Peterson Joins Star-Studded Michigan Sports Hall of Fame 2019 Class
The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame class of 2019 has been announced, and Flint's Morris Peterson is leading an all star class.
The announcement was made Tuesday with some huge names in sports getting the nods this year. We obviously are beyond proud to see one of our own in such a star studded class. Mo Pete definitely deserves his nod, and it makes it even more special to see the big names around him.
You should recognize most of the names on the list as some of the biggest stars in Michigan sports.
Mo Pete started in Flint at Northwestern, then on to championship fame at Michigan State. Peterson had an extremely successful NBA career and is now helping to revitalize Flint with multiple business ventures, including Mo' Petes Bar & Grill.
You can see the complete class of 2019 here along with their individual resumes.
The induction ceremony happens on October 5th, and there are still tickets available if you would like to go.
