No Detroit Rock At Lions Thanksgiving Game

After being the whipping boys/laughing stock of the NFL for 200 or 300 years, the Detroit Lions are stunningly great this year. With their 6-2 record, the Lions's annual Thanksgiving Day game with their division rival, and defending Super Bowl champs, the undefeated Green Bay Packers should be epic! But it turns out that Lions fans are furious that Nickelback will be the halftime entertainment — not because of Nickleback's lame songs, but because they are  Canadian! Seriously, Detroit is one of the greatest musical cities in America, if not the whole wide world! Why not have Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin or Alice Cooper perform? Eminem, Stevie Wonder and Kid Rock are three more perfect candidates.
