I know the first official day of summer is not until Sunday, June 20th - but I think most of us feel like Memorial Day Weekend is the kick off of the summer season. However, with the weather this weekend, if may feel more like fall.

Rain, shine, sun or no sun - we are kicking off the summer season this weekend with our annual Memorial Day 500 countdown. We will be counting down the top 500 songs in classic rock. From legends like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, John Mellancamp, and Bon Jovi to newcomers to the countdown this year like Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Foo Fighters.

Brian Harper will begin the countdown this Friday at 3:00 PM. All weekend long we will be counting down classic song after classic song until we reach number one.
