Tiger Bats Continue Their Slumber

The Detroit Tigers continue to be mired in a team wide batting slump.  A couple of Tigers like Miguel Cabrera and Brennan Boesch, have been moderately successful … the rest of the team is off to a slow start.  A Tiger team wide batting slump helped the Oakland A’s beat them for the second straight day ... 5 – 1.  The sole Tiger run came on a Casper Wells homer.   The Tigers travel to Seattle to start a three game set with the Mariner tonight.
