A Lapeer County man is dead following a car crash on Tuesday night.

Thirty-three year-old Corey Blatt of Marlette was driving a 2000 Ford Expedition and was heading west on Clifford Road in Burlington Township. According to WNEM, Blatt failed to navigate a turn and went off the road causing the vehicle to roll multiple times. Blatt was not wearing a seat-belt and was partially ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers in the vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police believe alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the crash.
