Passengers Take Pictures and Videos as Plane Fills with Smoke

As a plane filled with smoke late last week, passengers began taking selfies and videos with their phones.

JetBlue flight 1416 was headed from Long Beach, California to Austin, Texas when about ten minutes into the flight, the cabin began to fill with smoke. One passenger decided to take a selfie while another decided to smile through his mask and wave for the camera. Others were clearly more frightened. Thankfully everyone was safe as the plane made an emergency landing, but the question remains, what would you have done in that situation? A selfie? Or a video? Or something different like trying to reach out to a loved one?
