Tiger Pitchers Give up Two Grand Salami’s in Loss to Mets

Last night was one of those days which Tiger pitchers just want to forget.  Five Tiger pitchers gave up 18 hits in route to a 14 to 3 loss to the New York Mets.  Tiger starter Rick Porcello took the loss and relief pitcher Daniel Schlereth gave up grand slams in back-to-back innings.  The Tigers will try to re-group and rebound in game two of the series tonight at Comerica Park.  Phil Coke will take the mound for the Tigers.  GO TIGERS!
