Schuette Statement on Courser/Gamrat Arraignments

LANSING – Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette issued this statement following the arraignments of former state representatives Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat:

“People question if government works anymore, if justice will be carried out even in the clubby halls of power. Our joint investigation with the Michigan State Police led to these charges and it is our duty to pursue justice, no matter who is involved. Even those who write the laws.”
