About 500 dogs including a dog from Imlay City were in attendance as the Detroit Tigers took on the Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park Monday night for the first 'Bark At The Park' night of the season. Penny the dog transformed into tiger from Kelly's Pet Salon in Imlay City was the Bark At The Park big winner. A portion of the proceeds from this event benefits the Michigan Humane Society.

After selling out the first 'Bark at the Park' nights this season, the Tigers have announced two additional dates: Thursday, July 5 vs. The Texas Rangers and Monday, August 13 vs. The Chicago White Sox. The last 'Bark At The Park' of the season is Monday, September 17 vs. The Minnesota Twins.

Fans can purchase the Bark at the Park ticket package that includes one ticket for a dog and its owner, access to the Bark at the Park party area featuring water stations, Michigan Humane Society volunteers, dog 'restrooms' and other amenities. Packages are available for $48 per pair of tickets (one adult ticket, one dog ticket). Additional adult tickets can be purchased. Please note, one dog per paid adult ticket. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Michigan Humane Society. The Michigan Humane Society is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization in the state, caring for tens of thousands of animals each year.
