Motown Museum Produces Video of $50 Million Expansion

The Motown Museum has released a video to show the size and design of the new $50 million expansion.

The new video of what the Motown Museum is going to look like is amazing. I can't wait to see the finished project and check it out. The expansion is a 50,000 square-foot entertainment complex and will be connected to the existing Hitsville USA Museum in Detroit. The expansion is just off of W. Grand Boulevard but does not have a completion date yet.

When the Motown Museum project is finished, it will have a performance theater, interactive exhibits, recording studios, retail shops, and meeting places. So far, fundraising activities for the expansion have raised $25 million of the money needed to complete it. The museum officially broke ground back in September of 2019.

Having grown up near and having spent a lot of time in Detroit, I am really looking forward to how this turns out. Just one more awesome thing to add to Detroit.
