National Gas Prices Continue To Fall
Despite an increase in crude oil prices, gas prices have fallen 9 cents to a national average of $3.58 per gallon. Diesel is also down four cents bringing the national average down to $3.90 per gallon. It's the largest drop in gas prices this year according to a new survey.
American oil refineries have a plentiful supply, and they have aggressively cut wholesale prices. The survey says the lowest average price in the lower 48 states can be found in Tulsa, Oklahoma at $3.23, and the highest average price was $4.03 in San Francisco, California.
Around the Flint area, I've noticed that we're below the national average with prices ranging from $3.36 to $3.49. How much did you pay for gas last time you made a pit stop?
