Lapeer County prosecutors will be making a decision soon on what to do with Dustin Jenkins. He is accused of robbing the Lapeer County Bank & Trust's Elba Township branch in March. His attorney had asked for a psychiatric evaluation at the State center for Forensic Psychiatry in Ypsilanti.

Jenkins allegedly robbed the bank at gunpoint on March 13th, ordered four employees into a restroom, and then reportedly fled on a snowmobile. The prosecutor will have five days to make his recommendation after he receives the evaluation. He has been held without bail in the Lapeer County Jail since his arrest
