Specially trained therapy animals in the Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program are the perfect partners for young readers, allowing children to enjoy reading and building self-confidence. Call 810-724-8043 to sign up for a 15 minute session with Megan, the library’s R.E.A.D. dog. The sessions take place on July 8 & 22 and August 12 & 26 from 11 AM to 12 PM. The Ruth Hughes Memorial District Library is located at 211 North Almont Avenue in Imlay City.
