Tigers Continue Winning Streak with 5 – 2 Over Tampa

Starter Justin Verlander picked up his 19^th victory of the season as the Tigers beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 5 – 2 last night.  Alex Avila and Don Kelly hit homers to show the way offensively for the Tigers.  The same two teams go at it again tonight, with Brad Penny "toeing the slab" for Detroit.  The Tigers now have a 5 and a half game lead over both the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago White Sox.  GO TIGERS!
