Tigers Win on another Verlander Gem

The Tigers and starting pitcher Justin Verlander continued their winning ways last night.  They beat the Seattle Mariners 4 – 1 in the opener of their four game series at Comerica Park.  JV pitched another strong eight innings, giving up just one run on five hits while walking one and striking out a season-high 10 batters last night.  Verlander is now 7 & 3.  Brad Penny will take the mound tonight for the Tigers!
