Today Is National Mutt Day

It’s “National Mutt Day” celebrating mixed breed dogs - the Mutt.

The day is set up to raise awareness of the plight of mixed breed dogs in shelters and to educate the public about the number of mixed breed dogs that are waiting to be given a loving and caring home.

There are millions of unwanted healthy mixed breed dogs that are in shelters just waiting for that special new home so they can share their love with a kind family.

Sadly, the largest number of dogs euthanized in animal shelters each year is unwanted, medium to large mixed breed dogs.

I’m proud to say our two dogs at the farm Sully and Roo are pure Mutts.
