Peter Frampton's career got a big kick into super stardom when his double live album 'Frampton Comes Alive' started its climb up the album charts. It first appeared this week in 1976 at #191, a month and half later it made it to #1 and would stay there for 10 weeks. Over 11 million albums have been sold making it one of top selling live collections.
