If you want to get an up close look at DTE's 200,000 solar panels your chance will be this Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm. According to DTE's Facebook page you can take a hay ride tour of Michigan’s largest solar array.

In addition to informational guided tours, the celebration will include activities for children, cider and donuts and live entertainment. All activities are free of charge, and you can rsvp in advance at LapeerSolar.rsvpify.com or simply stop by Saturday.
Park free at Mott Community College on Lake Drive. Complementary shuttle buses will take you to the event site.
The solar field went on line Monday and has the ability of producing electricity for 11,000 homes.
