Heart Bombing Spreads Love For Historic Places In Lapeer [VIDEO]
Maybe you dig Lapeer, a particular building in Lapeer or the history of Lapeer. One of my favorite buildings is the Whitstone Building on Nepessing Street where my Aunt Dorothy worked as a seamstress for many years in The Julie Shop. Maybe you love getting together with people for a good cause. Or maybe you just love hearts and glitter. You’re invited to show your love for the historic buildings of Lapeer by heart bombing The PIX Theatre on Saturday, February 23, and taking part in a statewide photo campaign. Photographs will be taken at 11 AM in front of The PIX. Here's video of last year's heart bomb at the Marguerite de Angeli Library.

Heart bombing is fun and easy. Make a Valentine out of construction paper or poster board for the place you love, arrive at The PIX Theater no later than 11 AM, and sing its praises to the world. Photographs taken will be shared on social media and submitted to the National Trust For Historic Preservation.
The PIX Theatre is located at 172 West Nepessing Street in downtown Lapeer.
