
Buffalo Springfield Goes Public 48 Years Ago
This week in 1966, Buffalo Springfield the band that introduced us to Neil Young, and Stephen Stills performed for the first time in public when they opened in San Bernardino, California for The Byrds featuring David Crosby. By the way, the band’s name comes from the nameplate on a steamroller, made by the Buffalo-Springfield Roller Company, that was parked on the street outside the groups record producer’s house.
