No one had done this on stage until today March 31,1967 Jimi Hendrix for the first time sets his guitar on fire. The event happened at show in Finsbury Park, England.
This would become a common event at Jimi concerts from this day on. Including his guitar torching at The Monteray Pop Festival 1967.
